Earthquake Park
When you visit this park, it will give you an insight into one of the important moments in Alaska’s history: A magnitude 9.2 earthquake that happened on March 27, 1964. Point Woronzof Park
Located just outside the north end of the Ted Stevens Airport is Point Woronzof Park, this spot offers some great views of the Cook Inlet, Mt. Susitna and the Anchorage skyline in the distance. You can also find some wildlife in this region too! such as bald eagles, moose and you might even see a Beluga whale swimming in the inlet.

Glen Alps Trailhead
Glen Alps is one of the best-known trailheads. It is the jumping-off point of biking, hiking, berry picking, climbing and skiing trails. The trailhead is right at the tree line that gives quick access to the alpine zone and oh, there is also a paved trail suitable for people with disabilities. The viewing deck offers spectacular panorama insights into regional geography.
