Glenn Square
Glenn Square is a 250,000-square-foot power center located along Glenn Highway. This center is powered by various national retailers such as Bass Pro Shops. Glenn Square also consists of inline retail spaces and an eateries collection, including local favorite Xalos Mexican Grill. Glenn Square also features two pads available for future development.
This power center is located on a 25-acre parcel in an Anchorage neighborhood, Mountain View. Glenn square was named after Glenn Highway, which western terminus is very near the southern property line. This center supplements the Northway Mall, a big shopping area in the City of Anchorage since its development during the early 1980s.
Glenn Square opened to the public in 2008 on what was once a polluted city lot, which was cleaned up and sold to a developer through the Anchorage Community Development Authority. This center is home to over 25 stores with over 1,500 parking spaces.
